Driving at a speed of 90 km/h, most of us expect to encounter other cars and the occasional cyclist. But when an animal suddenly appears in our path, it can be a startling experience. This was the case for one driver recently, when an elk appeared 45 meters ahead of their car.
Startling Encounter
The driver was cruising along the highway, when an elk suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The elk had jumped out of the nearby forest and was standing 45 meters ahead of the car. The driver was taken aback by this sudden, unexpected encounter.
A Split-Second Decision
The driver had to make a split-second decision to avoid a collision. The driver quickly braked and veered to the side of the road, narrowly avoiding the elk. The driver was able to keep control of the car and eventually came to a stop.
This encounter serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining high levels of alertness when driving. Even in situations where it seems like there is no danger, drivers must remain vigilant and be prepared to react quickly to unexpected events.
