Kick, a recently launched live streaming service for video games, has swiftly gained popularity and attracted some of the industry’s most prominent figures. The site is a joint effort between the gaming website Stake.com and the person behind the popular slots and gambling live streams on Twitch, Trainwreckstv.
Adin Ross
Most viewers go in to watch Adin Ross, an internet celebrity who has become a divisive figure since moving to Kick and becoming the subject of multiple scandals. Ross had already begun broadcasting on the more modern platform when he was permanently banned from Twitch. After this, he reportedly signed a six-figure exclusive contract with the Stake-owned portal and made the shift there permanently.
Trainwreckstv’s
The creator’s AMA was around 33K in the first half of the year, but after the gambling prohibition was implemented, his major material, slots, had a huge decline in AMA. His average monthly viewers were approximately 9k in November and December of last year, and he broadcasted for a tiny fraction of his usual time.
DESTINY
More than twice as many people have viewed Destiny’s AMA on Kick.com as watched his AMA on YouTube in 2022. This massive expansion is evidence that Destiny has established himself as a leading creator on Kick.com and has acquired a sizable fanbase.
MELLSTROY
The controversial Russian live streamer, who has been bouncing between platforms over the past three years, returned to Kick this month, drawing 8,105 viewers for an AMA the week before. The Stream Hatchet staff was unable to locate Mellstroy’s AMA from 2022 with which to draw a comparison to his previous AMA.
BUDDHA
While GTA V Roleplaying was Buddha’s most popular category that week, the Slots & Casino subcategory shows a significant amount of activity as well. Recently, he has begun using the titles of his streams to advertise the newly introduced Kick app.
GMHikaru
In March of 2023, Hikaru Nakamura, better known to his fans as the chess streaming sensation GMHikaru, became one of the first significant content providers to publicly sign a contract with the new platform. Hikaru’s signing sparked a lot of buzz online because she’ll be one of the first chess streamers on the new site.
Ac7ionman
Ac7ionman, aka Aaron Travis, made the switch in February after ending his prior channel’s streaming in March. Since then, he’s been touting Kick as a competitive streaming platform by documenting his financial success on the up-and-coming service.
WestCOL
Following him is WestCOL, a popular Colombian video maker who ascended to the top of the Kick streaming ladder just last month. As per
CorinnaKopf
Another creator who has recently made the switch is the streamer CorinnaKopf.
IcePoseidon
IcePoseidon, or Paul Denino, a notorious in-real-life streamer, was banned from the Amazon for good.
